OUTCOME STUDIES: 2011-2012

Beginning in January 2011, 152 patients took part in the 3-day program. The latest treatment methods were used on these patients, such as IV nutrition, hydrogen peroxide, ozone, microcurrent, syntonic light therapy and homeopathy.

Acuity was measured using the ETDRS Eye Chart, which is accepted and approved in studies sponsored by the National Eye Institute and FDA. Each line on the chart has 5 letters.

Contrast was measured using the The Mars Letter Contrast Sensitivity Test (MLCST). The MLCST is a simple portable set of contrast-calibrated letter charts for testing contrast sensitivity. This measures the ability to perceive lighter and lighter shades of  contrast.

Visual fields were measured using a Campimetry. This device is used to test central fields for white, blue, green and red. It is used in syntonics to assess subtle changes in awareness and visual fields. This method measures the ability to perceive motion.
